NHSA Executive Leadership Certificate Program
A unique and engaged peer learning environment designed expressly for working nonprofit human service executives
A small group brainstorming session at one of the in-person courses held at Arizona State University for the 2015 Cohort.
The Executive Leadership Certificate Program (ELCP)through a unique partnership between NHSA, the Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Innovation at Arizona State University, and the School of Public and Environmental Affairs Executive Education at Indiana Universityprovides the foundation of knowledge a new or potential CEO needs to hit the ground running. It does so in a peer learning environment with an efficient combination of in-person and online sessions to accommodate working professionals. The expertise of the two universities, coupled with the peer cohort, makes the program uniquely valuable for new and promising leaders within the sector.
Testimonial
“More than anything, the program was designed to build leaders by creating a foundation across the key elements any leader must grasp – finances, fundraising, strategy and governance – and after immersing myself in this work, I can even better imagine myself as a leader who both knows what I know – strategy and vision – but also need to keep building on as I grow.”
