 The Six Triple Eight PG-13 — An army captain, played by Kerry Washington, leads her battalion to defy the odds and break barriers as the first and only unit of color to serve overseas in WWII. The historic Six Triple Eight, the U.S. Army's 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, includes 855 women who join the war effort to address a three-year mail backlog. Despite war-torn conditions and discrimination, they sort over 17 million pieces of mail ahead of schedule. (Netflix, December 20th Premiere)  Carry-On PG-13 — A young TSA agent named Ethan Kopek (Taron Egerton) fights to outsmart a mysterious traveler (Jason Bateman), who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight. You thought losing your luggage was the worst thing that could happen at the airport? This thriller begs to differ by taking airport anxiety to a whole new level. (Netflix, December 13th Premiere)  MARY TV-13 — Journey back in time to experience the story of the Nativity from a fresh perspective — through the eyes of Mary of Nazareth (Noa Cohen), the mother of Jesus Christ. Witness her courage, strength, and faith in this timeless coming-of-age story. Mary is shunned following an otherworldly conception, and forced to flee when King Herod (Anthony Hopkins) ignites a murderous pursuit for the newborn because of his insatiable thirst for power.  Your Friend, Nate Bargatze TV-PG — This is the third Netflix special for Nate Bargatze, the world's top-earning comic. In it, he tackles pizza-ordering strategies for guys' night, wanting a second dog, and relying on his responsible wife. Bargatze's comedic talents — on display in the Saturday Night Live skit shown here — are sure to add more laughter to your family time on Christmas Eve. (Netflix, December 24th Live Event)  NFL Christmas Gameday NR — Netflix has two Christmas gifts for football fans. It's bringing football to the festivities on Christmas Day with these live NFL games:

Amazon Is Shutting Down Freevee, Its Free Streaming Service
It's the end of an era for Freevee, the free ad-supported streaming service that originally launched as Freedive in 2019 and underwent several rebrands before landing on the name Freevee. It gained recognition for its original programming, with Jury Duty notably earning four Emmy nominations.
Amazon announced that the free shows, movies, and channels that were formerly on Freevee will be moved to a "Watch for Free" tab in the Prime Video interface. This content will still be available at no cost to audiences who don't pay for a Prime Video subscription, similar to the way non-subscribers can still rent or buy movies from Prime Video. The move will allow Amazon to cut streaming costs and simplify its interface. |

 Churchill at War TV-14 — This captivating docuseries examines Winston Churchill's pivotal role in World War II and the formative events that made him an ideal leader for the era. This is Churchill like you have never heard him before, and this is Churchill's war like you have never seen it before. Executive Producers are Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. (Netflix, December 4th Premiere)  Biggest Heist Ever TV-MA — If you're into true crime stories, don't miss this documentary about an incredible crime straight out of a spy novel. It examines the biggest financial heist in human history, involving $4 billion dollars in stolen bitcoin, which was carried out by an aspiring rapper couple who earned the nickname Bitcoin Bonnie and Clyde. The story only gets weirder as this fascinating documentary progresses. (Netflix, December 6th Premiere)  Aaron Rodgers: Enigma TV-MA — This highly anticipated three-part docuseries follows New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After tearing his left Achilles just four offensive snaps into the 2023 season, Rodgers has spent the last year preparing to get back on the field. He shares the defining moments of his life and career and talks about the importance of percentages and prayers. This reveals a side of Rodgers that few get to see.  It's a Wonderful Life TV-PG — Frank Capra's heart-warming masterpiece has been embraced as a cherished holiday tradition by families around the world. Is your family one of them? George Bailey (James Stewart) sets aside his dreams of world travel to run his father's small community bank, and protect the people of Bedford Falls from greedy businessman Mr. Potter (Lionel Barrymore). This comedy-drama series is about a maple syrup farmer named Ruth Landry, who acts in defiance of a heartless system and assembles a team including a Bostonian mobster and a French-Canadian security guard for a heist on Quebec's maple syrup surplus. Ruth turns to crime when the bureaucratic authorities threaten to take away everything she loves. (Prime Video, December 6th Premiere)  Black Doves TV-MA — This is the spy-assassin duo you didn't know you needed. Actors Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw team up in a six-part spy thriller set at Christmas, playing the roles of Helen Webb and Sam Young. Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who doesn't know her secret identity, and becomes caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to the dangerous London underworld. In response, Helen's employer calls in Sam to protect her. (Netflix, December 5th Premiere)  Pop Culture Jeopardy! NR — This is a brand-new twist on the classic quiz show's "answer-and-question" format that combines the academic rigor of Jeopardy! with the excitement and unpredictability of pop culture. Contestants, playing in teams of three, will need to be experts in categories such as Alternative Rock, Broadway, MMA, and Gen Z as they compete in a tournament-style event for the grand prize of $300,000. The show is hosted by Colin Jost. (Prime Video, December 4th Premiere) |

 Dream Productions TV-G — From the world of Inside Out comes Dream Productions, an all-new Disney+ series about the studio inside Riley's mind where dreams really do come true — every night, on time, and on budget — thanks to acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell). Riley's growing up and her core Emotions are on the job helping her navigate, but now Paula is facing a nightmare of her own. To try and save her career, Paula teams up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), an overly confident daydream director looking for his next big break. Can the reluctant pair come together to create the next big tween-dream hit? (Apple TV+, December 13th Premiere)  Star Wars: Skeleton Crew TV-PG — Starring Jude Law, this series follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law.
