As we usher in the new year, it's important to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and contributions of our dedicated team members. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to those who have recently embarked on a new chapter in their lives – our retirees!

Our next step is to form work groups of 4-8 employees to work on short, medium, and long-term recommendations for each of these themes.

You’re invited to participate in a parking information drop-in session, open to all CPFM employees. You’re encouraged to pose all your questions about parking and transportation at the UO. Dave Reesor, Director of Parking & Transportation, and Paula Ellison, Assistant Director, will be there to answer your questions.

Utilities & Energy installed new lighting throughout the tunnels to improve working and safety conditions. The improvement is incredible!

Brandon Russell has done an AMAZING job! Since he's been hired to clean the FAC the cleanliness has been improving significantly but what really made me want to send this email is that while everyone has been mostly out of the office this week, he has been diligently cleaning every inch of the FAC from waxing the entire first floor to vacuuming the stairs and most significantly, the black mold in the tile grout in the women's bathroom is all but gone! Please give this guy a HUGE thank you from all of us here at the FAC, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has noticed. - Kate Tillinghast

Thurs, Jan 25, 2-3pm: Film screening of LAND/TRUST (2022) and discussion of the film. LAND/TRUST (2022) documents the effort to restore the coastal prairie in the Quiroste Valley Cultural Preserve at Año Nuevo State Park, which encompasses the former site of Mitenne, a village of the Awaswas-speaking Quiroste people. Museum of Natural and Cultural History (free with UO ID)

Thurs, Jan 25, 5:30pm: Wine Chat: "The Sisterhood: How a Network of Black Women Writers Changed American Culture". The Sisterhood tells the story of how a remarkable community of black woman writers transformed American writing and cultural institutions. Capitello Wines 540 Charnelton St., Eugene OR 97401.
