Important Deadline on Monday

Consideration forms for Morning Gym and Extended Day cohorts are due by TOMORROW, August 10. This is a firm deadline.
  • To accommodate working families with our hybrid academic schedule, St M will provide free Morning or Afternoon Extended Day until 3:45 p.m. Additional care is also offered from 3:45-6 p.m. for a fee. Help with online enrichment classes and other homework will be provided as much as possible by staff. All efforts will be made to accommodate the remote learning needs of students in each pod.

  • Given licensing and health/safety restrictions, we may not be able to accommodate all families in need of childcare. The priority matrix is laid out in simple terms in our Reopening Plan, but the categories are more complex and nuanced. Many questions are coming in regarding the definition of "essential." Virginia recognizes healthcare providers, public workers, and emergency services as essential employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have questions about where your family ranks, please reply to this email.

  • NO DROP-IN CARE: No drop-in use will be permitted for either program in order to adhere to Virginia Department of Social Services mandates for strict cohorting and physical distancing. We are unable to accept consideration forms after August 10.
SUBMIT YOUR NEED FORM NOW
Morning Gym and Extended Day color pod placement announcement will take place August 12 so that those we are unable to accommodate can make other arrangements.

Both Morning Gym and Extended Day programs will begin on the first full day of school, September 2.

Fall After-School Enrichment

In-person After-School Enrichment programs are suspended at this time. Continuation of the program will be evaluated as the School year progresses.
  • Greater Richmond School of Music, a long time partner of our After-School programs, is currently accepting enrollment for online lessons. Their school year begins on September 8.
  • We will be unable to facilitate private music lesson connectivity for children while they are in Extended Day.
Private lessons provide focused, one-on-one instruction with a master teacher and are available in the following areas of study: Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Banjo, Mandolin, Voice, Violin, Viola, Fiddle, Cello, Bass, Percussion, Flute, Recorder, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, and all Brass Instruments.
