St. Michael’s strives to meet the needs of children and families beyond the traditional school day for all of our students, K-8. A number of scheduling options offer care after school dismissal on a traditional day.

The core Extended Day program is offered from 3-6 p.m. every day that school is in session. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day care options.

Healthy, nut-free after-school snacks WILL be included, with dairy and gluten-free options available.

Advance registration is required, and NOW IS THE TIME to reserve your spot!

Extended Day will close early at 4:30 p.m. on the following days:

-Groovin' on the Green
-Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade - December 4
-Benefit Gala - April 10

Drop-Ins: Need drop-in care only occasionally?

Families who desire a single day of Lower School Extended Day from time to time may take advantage of a daily rate of $28.50 from 3-4:30 p.m. or $45 from 3-6 p.m. Requests must be submitted by 2 p.m. of the day needed.

Policies & Deadlines

Open enrollment closes on June 6. After this point, registrations can be made by emailing Natasha Reed, Director of Extended Programs and contracts will be granted where space is available.

Contracts may be adjusted until September 26, 2025, so long as the student remains enrolled in the program. The total tuition cost can be paid in full or divided into 9 monthly installments, each with a $200 non-refundable deposit.

Middle School Extended Day

Middle School Extended Day is available Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. in the Middle School Allen Library. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day care options.

Due to the vast co-curricular offerings at the Middle School (e.g., athletics, theater, etc.), enrollment in the Middle School Core Extended Day program is done seasonally (fall, winter, spring) rather than annually.
