Good Evening, Traveler:
It is a dark and stormy night. Transylvania County is all atremble with tales of fearsome beasts and mysterious strangers. They say a monster stalks the forests around Brevard, menacing passersby with his flowing cape and wicked ways. I’m pretty sure I’m the only great and terrifying evil with a vacation house between here and Rosman. So they’re probably talking about me on my new mountain bike. Or perhaps that white squirrel with the Frankenstein costume. He’s very convincing.
October is upon us. It will soon be time for all my fellow ghouls, goblins and immortal creatures of the night to assemble for our favorite holiday... Halloweenfest. Evil creatures love a good craft brew (I like a very pale ale) almost as much as we like terror, mayhem, and chasing victims through haunted castles, fall foliage and O negative. There’s more of the weird, wicked and wonderful in Transylvania County this month than I’ve seen in my all my centuries of eternal darkness. It would be simply monstrous of you to miss it.
If we do meet by moonlight, perhaps you’ll join me for a bite?
Eternally yours,
Count Adventurist
