Rosendale 4-H Club: May 4, 2025

Submitted by Reporter, Eli Curtis
The Rosendale 4-H club met on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Peace Lutheran Church.
Before the meeting, we painted clay pots. Then, we planted flowers in them for Mother’s Day.
After we painted and planted our Mother’s Day pots, we said the pledges. Then, we had the Secretary’s and Treasurer's report. For old business, EVERYONE who submits a record book will gain $20.00. Sadie talked about her art project from Family Learning Day. Lastly, all of the dairy kids told us something they learned from the Fitting and Showing Workshop.
For new business, 4-H Raffle tickets were handed out. Each member must sell 2 and they cost $5.00. They are due next meeting. Pumpkin seeds were handed out to Cloverbud members. Feel free to bring the pumpkins they grow to the Cloverbud Pumpkin Contest in October. Watch the 4-H Newsletter for Fair entry sign-up. All members MUST exhibit at the FDL County Fair in July.
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church. We will be making Dirt Cake for Dad.
