Hi Neighbor!
Not only am I contributing writer for Main Line Neighbors but I am your actual neighbor! I live in the same township as many of you, I enjoy similar activities as some of you, and I experience some of the same events as you do, right here in our own neighborhood.
Whether it is my turn to contribute to the weekly newsletter or not, I always peruse the list of activities in and around town that are provided in the newsletter. I too like to be “in the know” and can be found “out and about” at farms and orchards, movies and farmers’ markets, and seasonal events as well. Which is how I found myself, after two decades of living on the Main Line, at the Bryn Mawr Twilight Concert Series a few weeks ago.
And it was awesome.

Longing for loving homes
Flowerpot
Flowerpot is ready to meet her forever family! And also, their neighbors. And also, their friends! Flowerpot is what we call a ham sandwich (aka a total goofball)! She is a well-intentioned, strong young pup who adores people but is still working on her manners, so a dog-savvy home with older, sturdy kids will be a great fit for her.
In her foster home, Flowerpot has her routine down: she's quiet, she loves to snuggle whenever given the opportunity, and she loves her people. Her foster says she's always attached at the hip wherever you go–if you're on the couch, she is up there with you, often resting her head on your lap. When you return home, she is right by the door to greet you with wiggles and a little dance. She's content to hang out and be doted on like the perfect princess she is! Read more here!
Coffee Cake
Coffee Cake is an adorable, portly brindle beauty ready to steal your heart! This pup is full of fun and loves nothing more than to run around in the yard and play a game of fetch. Her zoomies are a sight to behold and she'll make you laugh with her silly antics! But when it's time to wind down, Coffee Cake has the cutest yawn when she's sleepy, and is a huge snuggle bug and lapdog despite her 60 lb. size.
Coffee Cake loves people more than anything, and wants to be with them as much as possible; Due to some limitations with her sight, Coffee Cake does best when meeting new friends slowly. However, it doesn't take her long to curl up on the couch next to you.
Super smart Coffee Cake is looking for a dog experienced adopter with a yard or ready to work on her leash skills. Read more here!

A cornerstone of modern American theatre
Austin is a straitlaced screenwriter on the verge of selling his next script. His brother Lee is a blustering drifter just back from three months in the Mojave desert. When Lee charms his way into Austin’s movie deal, they begin to transform into each other in a conflict that crescendos into chaos. A finalist for the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, True West is a wry exploration of duality, masculinity, and the mythos of the American west.

Perelman kids learn to think, reason and question in Hebrew and English – beginning in our youngest grades. And that skill yields tremendous benefits. They leverage their dual-language acumen – and their knowledge of ancient texts – to gain richer understanding in every subject. So they take on coding, philosophy, art, architecture and music with superior insight and deeper perspective.
The result? Our children are bold, compassionate and open minded…excited to navigate the future and spark change.
The best way to see our difference is to experience it in action. Come take a personal tour at your convenience – whenever it fits your schedule. Explore our campuses, talk to our incredible students and discover what it means to be Powered by Perelman.
