Discover the botanical elements of gin as you tour through the Herbarium Collection with Linda Jennings, the Assistant Curator of Vascular Plants. Mia Glanz from Odd Society Spirits will talk about how gin is distilled while you sip a Wallflower Gin martini and taste Oaken Wallflower Gin.

Join Dr. Hermann Muhle as he discusses plants in the Lone Valley in Southern Germany in light of the 2013 European Commission's regulation proposal for dealing with invasive alien species.

From Meadows Woodland Far and Near
March 10, 2016 - September 4, 2016

From Meadows Woodlands Far and Near features Brigitte Potter-Mael's delicate watercolours and striking woodcuts, as well as Proverbial Botany, a collaborative piece with sound artist Andreas Kahre. The works are inspired by plants from the landscapes of Lone Valley, Germany and British Columbia.
