With more than 126 buildings across Clemson's main campus, it's up to the University's custodians to take care of these valuable spaces. In the third story in a series about University Facilities, learn more about "the guardians" who do this important work — often before the sun comes up.

After receiving national accreditation for the first time in 2021 from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., the Clemson University Police Department (CUPD) completed the four-year reaccreditation process. CUPD received formal notice in March of its renewed accreditation status by the CALEA.

The College of Education welcomed new students and parents to Clemson during its "Day in the Life" event this past Friday. Incoming students heard from faculty, staff and students about the day-to-day of a student in the College and enjoyed breakout sessions in Tillman Hall that covered everything from field placements to financial aid.

Tomorrow's headliner reading by Percival Everett at the Clemson Literary Festival has been postponed. Other Literary Festival events will take place as scheduled.

Join the Commission on Accessibility for an Accessibility Café session focused on crafting accessible digital experiences through better use of images. The session includes a presentation diving into the essentials of image accessibility and a hands-on workshop. The event takes place April 11 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and is open for faculty, staff and students.

Beginning Fall 2025, Simple Syllabus will be Clemson's repository solution and will be required for all courses. A successful syllabus repository supports the University in numerous ways, including supporting institutional accreditation by SACSCOC, the evaluation of transfer courses for Clemson credit and faculty-led curriculum-planning efforts.
