Starting with the 2025 tax year, Ohio University will include qualified overtime amounts on W-2s to support compliance with the new federal “No Tax on Overtime” provision. 

Applies to
Non-exempt employees who receive overtime pay for working more than 40 hours in a week.

What Counts as Qualified Overtime?
Hours worked beyond 40 in a week, as defined by FLSA Section 7. Only the “half” portion of time-and-a-half pay will be reported.

What to Expect on Your W-2
W-2s will include the total qualified overtime amount for reference when filing your tax return.

The session will cover the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), financial aid awarding, and types of aid available. This workshop walks employees and supervisors through the process of the performance management review cycle, the forms and paperwork required, and how to best communicate and collaborate on performance management reviews and goal setting for the future.

This session will help you build a shared understanding of rating definitions for the performance evaluation to ensure consistency across teams. You will identify behaviors and outcomes that align with each rating level and engage in discussions using performance examples.

1. Through My Personal Information (MPI): Select Payments - Manage Direct Deposit > Add Deposit Payment

2. Use the Direct Deposit Authorization Form

Follow the steps below by December 31:

1. Navigate to the ADP website

2. On the pop-up, select options for paperless statements and email notifications. 

3. Done!

- Select "your account" in the upper right corner of the screen (a small circle with your initials) and select “Settings” to update your preferences.
