Idea Engineering Leads on Strategic Communications

The growing opioid crisis has been labelled a national emergency. Building on our extensive experience in Rx drug abuse, marijuana awareness and DUI and DUID campaigns, Idea Engineering is working with clients on a multitude of projects promoting awareness, prevention and education of this pressing issue.

Plane of Pills

Idea Engineering was asked to create an easy way for people to comprehend the enormity of the opioid crisis. We created the “Plane of Pills” illustrative infographic which has been used many times by our client and re-used by other organizations.

Naloxone Billboard

Opioids can kill. Naloxone saves. Idea Engineering created a campaign promoting awareness of naloxone and also reducing the stigma of those receiving it.

Opioid Summit

On August 29th, Ventura County Behavioral Health, Alcohol & Drug Programs hosted the Opioid Solutions Summit in Ventura, CA. The event featured special guest speakers Sam Quinones, author of Dreamland and actor and recovery advocate, Danny Trejo.

Idea Engineering provided the summit with strategic communication and design work in promotion and execution of the event, including posters, banners, signage, invitations and custom video.

Ventura County Responds

This community report highlights the strategies and initiatives of the Ventura County Rx Abuse & Heroin Workgroup to address the opioid crisis locally. The magazine-style approach to copywriting, design and infographics helps make the information-rich content accessible to a broad audience.
