Sneak Preview of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Business After Hours tomorrow
Tomorrow, Thursday January 21, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Cottage Theatre will host the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce's monthly Business After Hours gathering. This free social event is designed to allow local business people the chance to meet others in our community. There will be food, door prizes, an optional backstage tour, a Q&A with Spelling Bee director Mark VanBeever, and finally a sneak preview of the opening number from the show. And, who knows, we might just invite a few business people to spell a word or two, just to get us all in the mood for the spelling bee!
If you're one of our Cottage Grove neighbors, do consider joining us for this fun event.

Our 34th season opens on January 29, so if you'd like to join us as a season ticket holder this year, now is the time to act.
Our 2016 season will feature the kind of wide-ranging variety that has become CT's hallmark. This year you'll enjoy one of the longest-running Broadway musicals of all time (A Chorus Line), one of the most popular plays in the English language (Hamlet), and one of the funniest farces ever to grace our stage (Scapino!). You’ll also relish a year-end holiday classic for your whole family (A Christmas Story), a side-splitting chronicle of adolescent angst (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and that Irving Berlin masterpiece whose famous songs you can probably hum already (Annie Get Your Gun). Season ticket holders guarantee their seats for sold-out shows and save up to 30% over the cost of single tickets. It's a great gift to yourself for this new year!
