Volunteer Spotlight: Sabrina and John Foster P'25 |
Sabrina and John Foster have made an extraordinary impact during their tenure as Co-Chairs of the Yale Parents Annual Fund, stepping down in June 2025 when their daughter Sophie graduated. They will continue to serve as members of the Yale Alumni Fund Board of Directors.
Under their leadership, the Parents Annual Fund exceeded its fundraising goal for the fiscal year 2025, raising over $5 million. Their unwavering commitment to Yale's mission and values has set an inspiring example for all parent volunteers. Reflecting on their experience, Sabrina and John shared:
“When we first joined the Yale Parents Annual Fund, we wanted to support Yale and demonstrate our appreciation. What we did not expect was how personally rewarding our involvement would become. If we could offer one piece of advice to other parents, it would be: Get involved! The need is real, the experience is meaningful, and the difference you make by volunteering, giving, or both is significant.”
Their volunteer work has not only significantly supported the university but has also enriched their lives through lasting friendships and deepened connections with the Yale community.
“We volunteered, hoping to give back; instead, we became part of a community that gives back to us. Our daughter graduated in May, and we share our daughter's deep connection to Yale. It feels great to remain part of this extraordinary community through the Parents Annual Fund."
Thank you, Sabrina and John, for your remarkable service and for the lasting legacy you continue to build at Yale.
