Fly Together: Reshaping the east side of campus |
Creighton has announced Fly Together, a nearly $300 million donor investment in 11 new or upgraded athletics and recreation facilities on the east side of campus. Fly Together launches with the largest gift in the University’s history: $100 million from the Heider Family Foundation. Here’s how 700,000 square feet of reimagined space will redefine the Creighton experience for students and student-athletes and strengthen the campus’s connection to downtown Omaha via the Builder’s District rising east of 17th Street. Creighton hosted a groundbreaking event to celebrate the start of a year-long project to install a 5.7-acre park across the Mall from the Ahmanson Law Center. The Creighton Quad will be a new hub for campus activities and events.
