The URock Student Association is sponsoring a chance for students to get out into the community and laugh their heads off!
Enter for the chance to win two tickets to see Bluebird Improv, featuring Rachel Dratch, Matt Walsh, Joe Canale, Brad Morris, and Tim Meadows, perform at The Strand Theatre Sunday, July 27th. The drawing will be held on Thursday, July 17th. Pickup will be at Rockland Center during regular business hours anytime before the show!

| Free Business Planning Class
|
New Ventures Maine has an open call for Venturing Forth: Business Planning for Entrepreneurs, a free, eight-week business planning class, to be offered in a hybrid format this summer. Participants can attend in person at NVME – UMA Brunswick Center or online via Zoom.
The class will meet in person on Tuesdays from July 1st through August 19th from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm Individuals complete an online application and attend an orientation and individual interview to participate in the class. Anyone with a business idea or current business is welcome to apply.
The online application is due by noon on Friday, June 20. Class size is limited to 15.

The Town of Rockport will be hosting the 3rd annual Donut Festival on Friday, June 13th - Saturday, June 14th at Rockport Marine Park. The festival pays homage to the creator of the Donut Hole, Gregory Hanson, who was a Rockport resident. The festival will feature a number of donut-themed activities, including live music, a donut dip in the harbor, and, of course, donuts!
