Meet the Team

Laura McCulley

I'm the Assistant Director of the Student Engagement Office at STAMP. Originally from Chicago, I now live in Maryland.

Fun Fact: I am a leap-year baby!

I am excited to lead the HESI 310 Course this fall.

Angie Osorio

I serve as the Graduate Assistant for Transfer and Off-Campus Student Life. Currently, I'm pursuing my master's in Marketing Analytics at UMD.

Fun Fact: I'm Honduran-American, and I have a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix.

I'm here to provide support, and I'm excited to meet you all at our upcoming events this year!

TOCSL EVENTS

Transfer Student Kickoff

You're invited! Join us for a special event to welcome YOU, our newest undergraduate transfer and off-campus students! This event will take place at 4:00 pm in the TerpZone Bowling Alley in the Stamp Student Union, so mark your calendars! We will have activities, giveaways, refreshments, and MORE! Come and meet fellow transfer students! After the transfer welcome, we will attend the President’s Welcome and BBQ to kick off the new academic year at Mckeldin Mall. Hope to see you there!

Good Morning, Commuters

FREE breakfast for commuting students on the 1st Wednesday of the month. A great opportunity for transfer and off-campus students to connect over breakfast. TOCSL serves ~120 UMD students per month!

Thrive as a Transfer: Join T2T this Fall

Transfer2Terp (T2T) Learning Community

Ease your transition to UMD and make it more meaningful by joining the Transfer2Terp (T2T) Learning Community. The T2T Learning Community offers first-semester transfer students the opportunity to take HESI310, a 3-credit upper-level course designed to translate your previous success into a strong start at Maryland. T2T students work alongside faculty and staff to achieve a seamless transition into campus life and culture. Best of all, T2T students build a community among classmates, who are going through the same transfer experience as you!

UndocuTerps Orientation

Immigrant and Undocumented Student Life is located in the STAMP Student Engagement Office. They work closely with TOCSL for student support and programming. Their office is hosting their Fall Orientation which introduces undocumented students to their office.
