APRIL VOLUNTEERING
Spring is Here!
Hello Garbage to Garden Volunteers!

Spring is our favorite (and busiest) time of year at Garbage to Garden! This month we've got many opportunities to get your hands dirty and get moving. You can help us with some spring cleaning at Garbage to Garden HQ, participate in spring clean up efforts in South Portland, make seedballs with kids at Urban Runoff, or help us sort composting and recycling at an earth day event on the LL Bean campus! And of course, we will be getting our first truckload of black gold from Benson Farm and will be wasting no time bagging it up for all of your gardens!

As always, to sign up for an event this month and receive a month of free Garbage to Garden service, RSVP by email and be sure to sign in at your event! Remember, events are first come, first serve.

Also, please help us welcome Jackie Spencer, our new Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator. Jackie will be the go-to person for all things related to Garbage to Garden's volunteer program and will be the one you correspond with through volunteer@garbagetogarden.org.

This month's volunteer orientation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 5:30pm. This session will give you an opportunity to learn more about Garbage to Garden, our volunteer program, how to get involved, and get early access to next month's volunteer opportunities. Email Jackie to RSVP!

Happy Composting!

- The Garbage to Garden Team

P.S. Make sure you check your inbox for our annual spring fling newsletter later this week!
