Happy July, 4-H Families!
We recently wrapped up an incredible summer camp experience, where 133 youth participated in a week full of learning, laughter, and lifelong memories. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing camp committee—your dedication and behind-the-scenes work made it all possible. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!
It’s also been a joy to see so many of you at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair this week. One of my favorite parts of the fair is seeing firsthand the impact our 4-H members are making in their communities. The fair provides a perfect platform for youth to showcase the projects they’ve worked so hard on throughout the year. On a personal note, I even tried my first-ever malt from the Snack Bar—and it did not disappoint! Huge thanks to the Snack Bar Committee for the countless hours you’ve spent planning, preparing, and running this important fundraiser that supports our 4-H programs.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to be joining our older youth soon for the Discover Wisconsin experience. Stay tuned to our social media pages for updates—we can’t wait to share the journey with you!

National 4-H Week Service Project
|
The Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Council invites you to join their Statewide Service Project!
National 4-H Week is October 5-11, and we want to highlight this week in Wisconsin by encouraging 4-H clubs to participate in a service project. This year’s theme is “Beyond Ready to Serve.” We encourage you and your club to create meaningful service projects that benefit your community.
Community service is a vital part of 4-H clubs and groups. In the 4-H pledge, we commit our “hands to larger service,” and we know that 4-H clubs are actively engaged in service projects throughout the year. We hope your club will join this effort and consider a project in the fall as part of our statewide initiative!
With our theme “Beyond Ready to Serve,” we encourage your club to make a unique impact on your community through a variety of service acts.
We encourage your club to work as a team and make these service projects youth-led, with youth deciding on the project and leading its planning and execution. Once your club has selected a project, please register it here.
