Ways to Engage at #HCH2019
Plan Ahead: Preview Workshops and Sessions
Our conference agenda has everything you need to know about where to go and what to do throughout all four days of #HCH2019. Check out the schedule to see which sessions and events pique your interest.
Visit Local Homeless Services Organizations
Sign up for site visits at the designated table near registration to see the work that four local agencies are doing to provide shelter and services to people experiencing homelessness. Registration opens Thursday, May 23, at 7 a.m.; we encourage you to arrive at sign-ups early, as these visits have limited space.
Celebrate Deserving Individuals at the Awards Luncheon
Every year we honor individuals committed to the cause of ending homelessness through leadership, service, consumer advocacy, and medical respite during our Awards Lunch. Join us on Friday, May 24, at 11:30 a.m. in the Independence Ballroom as we celebrate the hard work and dedication of our award winners.
Meet Face to Face with Policymakers
You're invited to visit the offices of Senators and Representatives while you are in D.C. to help further our work to end homelessness. No experience is needed, and we will provide talking points and prep materials and put you in touch with others from your state so that you may attend together. Learn more—and contact Regina Reed to get started!
Rally for Social Justice in Front of the White House
Join us for a rally for human rights at the close of #HCH2019. Stand in solidarity with your brothers and sisters in the movement for justice and call for housing, health care, and other basic needs to be recognized as human rights by our policymakers. To take part, meet us in the hotel lobby at 5:15 p.m. or at Lafayette Square at 5:30 p.m. Learn more.
