Kaya HR has supported the Oregon Food Bank for many years. Our Portland team recently donned our hair nets and worked an OFB volunteer shift sorting and packing an enormous bulk bin of potatoes (15,000 pounds total among our larger group!) into more manageable and family- friendly 5 lb. bags.
We appreciate the OFB's mission to eliminate hunger and its root causes and provide nutritious food for all, and also their well organized volunteer coordinators that allow a small group like ours to make an impact in a very do-able 2 1/2 shift!
