Plan to participate in one of our
Ash Wednesday Services.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 14th, you may choose from a morning service at 7:00 am before you head off to work or school, or an evening service at 6:00 pm to close your day. This contemplative service of prayer, song, and ashes will mark the beginning of the Lenten season for all of us. Let it be our way of walking together through the threshold of this special time.
Come, join us to prepare your heart and mind for the Easter season.
Please note: Our Wednesday night meal and all other Wednesday night programs will resume next week on February 21st.

so, we are giving you an opportunity to share LOVE!
Remain a few minutes after tomorrow's 6:00 pm Ash Wednesday service to help us pack handmade pouches for our Ministry with the Homeless. The bags, filled with ChapStick, toiletry items, Subway gift cards and wonderful notes of encouragement written by our Parkway Hills Youth, will be distributed at Grace Place at 8:30 am on February 26th.

UMM has an amazing GATHERING

THIS SATURDAY
February 17th!
Conveniently meeting at Canton First UMC, registration begins at 10:00 am. Tables loaded with Strength for Service devotional books, information about Rise Against Hunger, the Domestic Violence Initiative and more, will be available until lunch is served at noon. Music, guest speakers, and Men’s Ministry presentations will round out the day’s Gathering. Cost will be $25 per person, (which includes lunch), but if our group has 4 or more attending, it will only be $100 for the entire group! You are in for a treat!
Our 4th and 5th grade students are working hard preparing a play they have written with their Sunday School teachers, Drew Pruett and Linda Irby. It tells the story of ESTHER, and will be presented on the first day of Purim, which is also the night of our next "Last Supper", February 28th.
(On the last Wednesday night of each month, instead of breaking up after dinner to go to classes by age group, we stay together for an intergenerational time that is really helping us get to know each other better.)
So, mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 28th.
Join us for dinner and "Let's Meet Esther"!
A reminder to all our 4th and 5th graders: We have an important rehearsal for our Purim presentation after dinner next Wednesday the 21st.
