With the close of the 2024 Mississippi Annual Conference last week, we’re happy to share that appointments are set and Rev. Dawn Douglas Flowers, our senior pastor, and Rev. Haven Boyd, associate pastor for children and outreach, have been reappointed for another great year to love and serve our faith community!
Saturday, June 29: Habitat Faith Build Work Day; 7:45-noon. You can meet at PHUMC @ 7:20 to carpool or meet us at the worksite. We need one more person to fill our slot.

School Supply Drive
Help provide school supplies to local children in need and make their back-to-school season a little brighter. The clients at MadCAAP worked hard to complete 12 hours worth of educational classes to receive this opportunity.

Sunday School
We still need volunteers to sign up to teach for a summer Sunday School session.To *volunteer click this link.
*All volunteers must submit a background check before volunteering with children and youth.  

Join us Saturday, July 20 for a KidMin Day of Fun! Rising 2nd - 4th Grade will meet at Urban Air (6370 Ridgewood Ct Drive, Jackson) at 10:15 a.m. for a two hour jump session. Cost for the Deluxe Attraction package is $22.99 per child. Parents, you must fill out a waiver for your child. If you have kids of multiple ages, a PHUMC chaperone will be at Urban Air so you can head to Happy Land with your younger children; just be back at Urban Air at 12:15 for pickup. Rising 1st grade and under meet at Happy Land (1039 E. County Line Rd., Suite 105, Jackson) at 10:30 a.m. Parents must stay at Happy Land with their kids. For more info email Pastor Haven.

Youth/Bridge Geyser Falls Trip: Starting to feel the summer heat? Then make plans to join us at Geyser Falls on July 12! Registration is $43 by July 10, payable here or via the Vanco app.
Youth-led worship: Our students will lead us in worship and share about their experiences in Waco in the 10:45 am worship service on this coming Sunday, June 30.

The June communion offering for PHUMC, $635.00 to date, will support the missional emphasis decided upon for this year's Annual Conference. Every year as United Methodists from around the state gather for Annual Conference, an offering is taken so that we may live into our commitment to be in mission.
