Bell Schedule Update Message from
Principal VanSlambrook
Parents and Families,
The 16-day "test run" of the revised bell schedule concluded today, February 22. We return to our regular bell schedule, which we have been using all year up to this point, beginning tomorrow, Friday February 23.
The coming weeks will be a period of continuing data collection and discernment by our faculty and staff on what bell schedule to adopt for the 2024-25 school year. As part of that process, we invite parent input based on what you have heard from your children about their experience, and we welcome any thoughts you have about the new proposed schedule.
If you would like to provide feedback, please complete this survey by Friday, March 1. The results will be compiled, and parent feedback considered, during our discernment process. Students, faculty, and staff will also have survey opportunities, using separate links tailored to them and sent directly to them via email.
We plan to decide and communicate our bell schedule for 2024-25 by the week of spring break. As a reminder, this decision does NOT affect student course scheduling for the coming school year, because it does not affect how many classes they may take, and does not change curricular requirements or offerings.
Thank you!

Brebeuf Food Drive Going on Now!
Brebeuf Jesuit is once again holding a canned food drive during Lent through March 27. Period 4 classrooms will track collections to compete and see which class can bring in the most donations.
In years past, St. Vincent de Paul has fed roughly 12,000 individuals each week. Please consider donating to help feed the 3,000+ families that rely on St. Vincent DePaul for their food.
HOW TO HELP
To contribute to the drive, send any canned food items to Brebeuf with a student. Benchmark collection days will happen every Day 4. To contribute monetarily, the Mothers Association has organized a donation link for the drive. You can also send in cash or a check with a student who can deliver it to the Community Service Office (please make checks out to: St. Vincent de Paul, memo: Food Pantry). Thank you!
