Ranch House Fence
The Ranch House is getting a new split-rail fence! The contractor is tearing out the old, white split-rail fence and setting it in the parking lot. If you would like some of the old fence material, feel free to stop by and pick it up! This is the first time the fence has been replaced, and the original fence was installed in the 1970s. The new fence was paid for out of the Master Association Reserve Fund and cost $43,000. Fence construction is expected to be completed in the next couple weeks.

Season Closure Dates for Ken-Caryl PoolsBradford Pool: Sunday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.
Ranch House Pool: Sunday, Aug. 12 at 7 p.m.
Community Center Pool: Monday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.
Late-summer hours for the Community Center Pool will be posted online by Aug. 13. Once school starts in mid-August, there are not enough lifeguards to keep all three pools open, and with low attendance, the cost of operating multiple pools outweighs the benefit to the community. Instead, we focus our resources on one pool for the last couple weeks of the season.

Reminder to Keep Sidewalks ClearResidents, please remember to keep your sidewalks clear. If you have bushes growing onto or trees hanging over the sidewalks, please trim them. Sidewalks need to be clear so pedestrians and cyclists have a safe path, rather than going into the street. Also, students start back to school next week, so there will be more kids using the sidewalks to get to school.

VRBOs and Airbnbs on Ken-Caryl RanchRecently, the Master Association has had a few inquiries about rules regarding short-term rentals such as VRBOs and Airbnbs. There are not currently any Master Association rules regulating short-term rentals on Ken-Caryl Ranch. Any rules regarding short-terms rentals would come from Jefferson County Planning and Zoning. It is the understanding of the Master Association staff that Jefferson County is currently reviewing those rules, but we do not have any details at this time.
