Remembering Justice Sandra Day O'Connor |
Sandra Day O'Connor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1981 to 2006, died on December 1, 2023 at age 93.
She was a moderate conservative from Arizona appointed to the bench by President Ronald Reagan, and the first woman to serve on that court. Learn more about her career & legacy.

| Junior Deferral and LEAD Fellowship Applications for Law School Now Open |
The Junior Deferral Program at Harvard Law School and the LEAD Fellowship Program at Columbia Law School allow students to apply early to law school early during their junior years but require them to defer their matriculation for at least 2 years after graduation if awarded admission.
This is an ideal option for students who know they want to go to law school but want to explore other professional, educational or service opportunities first.
Tufts undergraduate students in junior standing are eligible to apply to the Junior Deferral Program at Harvard Law School, and the application deadline is July 1, 2024. Additionally, the LEAD Fellowship Program application can be accessed at
Columbia Law School, and the application deadline is June 15, 2024.

Important Changes to LSAT Happening in August 2024 |
The Law School Admissions Council has announced that it will change the LSAT format starting with the August 2024 exam. Specifically, it will remove the logic games section, also known as the analytical reading section. The new format will include two logical reasoning sections, one reading comprehension section and an unscored section of either.

he tests in the current 2023-2024 testing cycle, up to and including the June 2024 LSAT, will remain unchanged.
Deciding when to take the LSAT is a big decision, so make sure to carefully explore your options. Also note that test takers seeking to take the LSAT before any test changes are implemented, the test is offered in January, February, April and June 2024. To sign up for the April 2024 LSAT, you must register for the exam by
