What is Hope One Monmouth?
| |
The Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Hope One Mobile Unit,
supported by recovery specialists, travels to local communities to help tackle the opioid crisis. Since its launch in 2019, Hope One has visited countless events and locations, providing education on addiction services and offering vital resources to individuals affected by substance use disorder. In addition to distributing hygiene products, the unit also provides vouchers for free 30-day treatments. By maintaining a regular monthly schedule, Hope One demonstrates its ongoing dedication and ensures residents can rely on consistent support.
Community outreach efforts include the monthly deployment of the Hope Truck, with visits to locations such as Brookdale Community College, JBJ Soul Kitchen, and various sites in Asbury Park, NJ.

The Sign will make its world premiere at the 2025 Garden State Film Festival. The film’s unique visual style immerses the audience by focusing on a single perspective and intentionally omitting faces. This deliberate choice enhances the sensory experience, amplifying its powerful message about the importance of disability awareness, particularly for those with invisible disabilities.

It’s a fight for benefits the players of the ABA felt were promised, but never delivered."
