Dear Supporter,
I wanted to update you on the measures TrueNorth Community Services is taking to protect our program participants, volunteers and staff from the spread of COVID—19.
Many people throughout our communities rely on us when they are in crisis. Although this certainly is an extraordinary time for everyone, we must keep critical resources available for those who need it most. The TrueNorth Service Center in Fremont, Michigan will remain open with temporary modifications to some of our programs and services. We are following and reinforcing recommendations from The Center for Disease Control (CDC), the State of Michigan and our local health department regarding personal hygiene, social distancing and institutional cleanliness.
We want to reassure you, our most loyal supporters, that we are here for those who need help. For a summary of temporary program changes, click here. We are expecting an increase in need over the coming weeks and months as the long-term fallout from COVID-19 continues to play out. Please, if you are able to make a financial gift, do so now.
We will continue to monitor the current situation and make necessary adjustments to our mission delivery plan as appropriate.
Please keep those affected in your thoughts. This is a trying time for many of us. Calm and compassion are as important as anything else.
Best,
Bev Cassidy
President and CEO
