Chippewa Chatter | January 2026 |

Cloverly Greetings 4-H Families,
As we settle into January, set our goals for the year, and take time to reflect, I’m reminded of the incredible things happening across Chippewa County. This edition of our chatter is packed with exciting events, programs, and opportunities. Just this week, our Cloverbuds visited the fire department to explore community leadership, which sparked an important question for me: how are we creating meaningful leadership opportunities for our youth?
I often hear from families wondering whether there are leadership programs available for older youth. As our momentum continues to grow, I’m actively exploring ways to build a fun, engaging, and unique leadership experience for those young people who are so often asked to step up. How can we support them with intentional learning opportunities, not just responsibilities?
Our Snack Bar Committee also met to reflect on this year’s Snack Bar at NWSF. Once again, it was an incredibly successful fundraiser—thanks to our volunteers, youth, committee members, and community supporters who showed up with enthusiasm. Chippewa County 4‑H is filled with pride, connection, and a deep sense of community. The heartbeat of this program truly is our young people.
As always, if you have thoughts, questions, concerns, or feedback, I welcome the chance to connect. Your input helps us continue moving Chippewa County 4‑H forward.
