| *Updated* GO, SLOW, WHOA List now on CATCH.org (K-5 and 6-8)
CATCH’s GO, SLOW, WHOA food list has been updated by the UTHealth School of Public Health based on the latest nutrition science research ( view update summary). These changes are now reflected on the CATCH.org K-5 and 6-8 curricula.
Updated versions of GO, SLOW, WHOA posters and other materials will be available for purchase and/or free download from CATCH.org. Please contact monica.sharkey@flaghouse.com for more information.
Existing print CATCH curriculum users: be sure to download the new GO, SLOW, WHOA food list and share with your CATCH school team to review food category updates and lesson references.

- CATCH My Breath has been expanded to include 5th grade and updated significantly with new content and activities across all grade-levels. Watch our new 2-minute overview video at catchmybreath.org to learn more. Past and current users of the program can learn about specific changes by watching the newly updated Part 3 of training.
- CVS Health announced aggressive new plans to combat e-cigarette use among youth, including a multi-year, multi-million dollar collaboration between CATCH Global Foundation and Discovery Education to enhance the CATCH My Breath program. Learn more in this announcement and look for more details about the partnership soon.

| Teachers from five Hartford Public Schools received CATCH training last week thanks to generous funding from Aetna Foundation. Hartford is the 23rd school district to receive our evidence-based health and nutrition programming as part of the CATCH Promise initiative!

Grant Opportunity for NYC Public Schools! Apply by Sept 15th

| Following our success in seven New York City CATCH Promise schools in 2018-19, we will make grants to another cohort of 12 NYC schools in 2019-20. Each school will receive free training, resources, curriculum, and a health & wellness stipend. To apply, please complete this survey or contact shana@catch.org for more information. Inaugural CATCH Whole Child Summit Recap
CATCH held it’s very first CATCH Whole Child Summit for school district leaders on August 1st in Austin, TX. CATCH district champions from around the country joined (in-person or virtually) to share experiences, learn best practices, and hear about CATCH program development and organizational goals. Stay tuned for details on CATCH’s next summit slated for Spring 2020!

Mark your calendars – Take Your Parent to PE Week is September 23-27!
Sponsored by the Active Schools movement, Take Your Parent to PE Week is a fun, immersive way to introduce parents to the physical education program and teachers at their child’s school. The weeklong campaign encourages parents to engage with PE throughout the year and inspires families to be physically active together at home and in the community. Be sure to utilize toolkits for parents and schools to make participation fun and easy!
