Pastor Bruce has begun a sermon series on

"Five Words We Can't Live Without"

Yes, there were many great words that did not make this list, most notably "sin", (offered during Sunday's children's moments), and "chocolate", (suggested by more than one adult!). Several other great words will be woven into the chosen five. The first message was on GRACE. Next Sunday's sermon will focus on LOVE, followed by FAITH, CHURCH, and MISSION. If you were at church Sunday, you got to see the bringing in of the Olympic Torch!
Our children are getting excited about our Olympic VBS- with good reason. Our leaders have come up with great ideas for songs, games, stories and teaching moments.
Join the fun on Sunday, May 22nd through Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
(Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:00 pm)

The ENTIRE CONGREGATION is invited to come out this Sunday for an Ice Cream Social at 4:30 pm to meet Dani and make her feel right at home.The ice cream bar will be set up in the foyer of the Education Building; from there you can go outside to visit.

Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy an afternoon on the church grounds.

Rick Kolar is preparing to entertain us with some tunes. Bruce, Ann, and Matthew will help introduce Dani to everyone. This is a perfect time to live into our core values: Welcome, Grow, Serve and Celebrate!

Troop 164 held their Court of Honor Monday night, celebrating the work and progress made by each Boy Scout this year. Jackson Kiser earned both his Bronze and Gold Eagle Palms.
