Midsummer Dream
For the first few days this week my brain was making that empty buzzing noise we all fear from our HVAC units during the summer. I've been tired, but it's such a good tired. This past week in PCB was one I'll always cherish, as will many of our youth based on what they've shared. I'm incredibly proud of our students, and so thankful for each member of their wider community who made this week possible. We've been dreaming about this trip for a long time, but as is so often the case God had even grander designs than we could have reached on our own.
This week was an unforgettable reminder of why youth ministry matters. Teenagers are capable of so much when given the opportunity and empowerment to excel into their God-given gifts and callings. Growing into their new age in the church, feeding 100 people, being open to growing together, committing their lives to following Jesus; the only thing more exciting than where they are is where they might go next.
We've crossed over the mid-point of Madison summer break, but that doesn't mean we're done! This trip-delayed July edition of our newsletter has info about a chance to serve our neighbors, fun fellowship events, Sunday School info, and adult opportunities to serve!
