Scouts from Troop 164 are selling delicious, locally-grown blueberries as their fundraiser again this year. These berries taste GREAT and they are so good for you!  Cost is $18 for a 5-pound container of freshly -picked, plump blueberries; all you have to do is place your order by this weekend. (Remember, they freeze well!)  Questions?  Contact Connie Moore at 601-906-7272.

We would LOVE for you to join us Wednesday, June 22nd for a church-wide, family-friendly shrimp boil!  We plan to fire up the burners and have the shrimp, potatoes and corn ready by 6:30 pm.  Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and plan to spend a lovely summer evening listening to music, peeling shrimp, and enjoying your church family.  (We are looking for one more burner/pot/cook combo, and a pirogue from which to serve.  If you have something we may borrow, please let the church office know.)

Sunday morning, Wayne Jones shared that there were many foster children who had to carry their belongings in trash bags when they moved from home to home.  First thing Tuesday morning, we began to receive gently used suitcases, duffel bags and backpacks; and that pile continues to grow!  If you have some luggage you no longer need, please drop it by the church office and Wayne will make sure it gets to children who need it.  Thank you for continuing to share the love of Christ in such creative ways!
