Proposing and Facilitating an FLC
This session will provide a brief overview of faculty learning communities (FLCs): what they are; how they work; their international recognition and operation at Miami since 1979; and their teaching, learning, and/or institutional outcomes. The discussion will focus on the FLC facilitator role and the CTE process for proposing an FLC topic or cohort for the academic year 2024-2025. Time will be allocated for Q&A to support individualized learning and FLC proposal development.

Visiting Teacher-Scholar Events!
Acclaimed teacher-scholar James Lang, author of Small Teaching and Distracted, will lead book discussions and workshops as our inaugural guest for the Drs. Mary (Scherger) Bonhomme and Raymond Bonhomme Visiting Teacher-Scholar Series.
