Summer Newsletter!
Regardless of what you are seeing on the news, God is working powerfully in the city of Jacmel and is using FGIM to further His kingdom."! As the summer is coming to a close we would like to share some of the blessings that have taken place this summer in Haiti. This brief update will hopefully give you an idea of what we've been up to and how FGIM has been hard at work in the community. As you read through this update, we invite you to pray with us as we continue to labor and toil for Christ in this mission that He has entrusted to us.
Our family is still in the Montgomery, Alabama area and the Lord has sustained us by His grace. We were able to visit a few of our partner churches in the area preaching and sharing about the ministry.
Our kids are getting much needed medical care, playing intramural soccer, taking music lessons, celebrating birthdays, and serving with me on base at the chapel where they're on the worship team singing praises to our King!
We will wrap up our time here in the states in September. Again, thank you for your partnership and prayers! May our Lord bless you all!
In Christ,
The St Louis Family

Faith House Orphanage Update...We're excited to share that we were able to send all of our girls to summer camp in Jacmel this year! Thanks to generous donors who made this possible, all of our girls spent a week learning about the importance of faith and how to deal with fear as a Christian.
In addition, we had several of our older girls (16 and up) go to a Summer Bible Training program this year. This is a 3-year program that teaches the students foundational Christian doctrine, strategies for evangelism and discipleship. We were blessed to send a group of 17 from our church (6 from Faith House) to this training.
We also celebrated the following birthdays: Lovemelie, Anshela, Celena, & Katelyn!

Construction with Chase...
Currently, under the leadership of Chase Barbrey, we were able to successfully place the power pole & transformer on the property!
In our last update, we mentioned that we were blessed by a generous donor to purchase a dump truck. We are currently putting a list together to fill the dump truck with material for construction and items for Faith House. If you are interested in donating items for the orphanage or would like updates about our construction projects, please email Chase at barbreyc@gmail.com
We are continuing with our fundraising campaign and praise be to God, we were able to find a pledge for $40k towards the building of our Girls Home! This leaves us with a total of $120k which we still need to raise.
If you feel led to become a monthly financial partner with just $50/mth or want to give a legacy gift of $1k or more, you can do so now by clicking below. The gift designation is "Property Building Fund" on the website. Thank you and God bless you!

| SHORT TERM MISSIONS
Unfortunately, due to the civil unrest in Port au Prince this summer, we had to cancel all of our scheduled teams. We invite you to pray for the country of Haiti as they struggle with political corruption and power struggles in the government. We trust in the power of Jesus and truly believe that He is able to make all things work for His glory. Our community covets your prayers as unemployment and cost of living continues to skyrocket without an end in sight. The only message that we have is the gospel of Jesus Christ that can make the impossible, possible. With your prayers and support, we know that one day in God's divine agenda, Haiti will become a powerful testimony of God's grace.
As we look ahead to 2020. We are currently planning our trips. If you or your church would like to come alongside our church community next year, please reach out to our Stateside Representative, Amie Smith for more information: amie@fgimwitness.org

Update from the Church...The following pictures will show a variety of things that happened in the life of the church during this summer. We had our Women's ministry discipleship group meeting, we had a baby shower, our church leaders conducted home visits, and our interim pastor has been preaching through our doctrinal statements. It's been a very busy summer, but all to the glory of Christ.

Update from our School...Our students put on a wonderful end of the year program which displayed their talents and growth throughout the school year. Below you'll see pictures from the program as well as a few pictures of different activities.
EXCITING NEWS ....Every School in Haiti has to send their 9th grade students to take an official exam in order to move on to the next grade. The school is graded on the % of students who pass. This summer we sent our first group of 9th grade students to take the exam and now we can proudly say that 100% of our students PASSED the exam (this is not common in our region).
We are so proud of our teachers and students (Karine, Marie Danielle, Marie-Imene, Christella, Maria Christelle, & Rose-Berline)
If you would like to donate specifically towards our school program, you can do so by clicking on the link below to help advance our vision to educate, equip and empower the future generation of Haiti! We have several students from the community that are in need of financial support to fund their education.
By donating $30/mth, you can help meet a significant need. Your gift will change lives for years to come. If you feel led to support, you can do that by clicking on the link below and designating your gift to the school program. Thank you and God bless you!

PRAISE REPORT
We want to take a minute to thank the Lord for an amazing testimony!
Last month, one of our church leaders, Pastor Toussaint, had a man by the name of Brother Secouer (pronounced: Se-ker), walk up to him after church and share his desire to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior!
Our leaders wasted no time and went to his home and prayed with him to receive Christ.
He is attending our worship services and is actively participating in our bible studies. Please pray for him as he is leaving a lifestyle of dark magic to follow the Lord.
