From the Ranch House

Irrigation Update
Our main lines are pressurized and all homes should now have water! We invite you to visit our website for all things landscaping, including suggestions to keep your lawn looking healthy. Temperatures are still dipping at night so please be aware when starting your systems.
Deer Fencing
The deer fencing removal deadline has been extended to Sunday, May 15. You may remove fencing at any time, but must have it down and properly stored by the deadline.

Carbondale Dark Sky
Did you know that the Town of Carbondale has an exterior lighting code that is designed to preserve the dark night sky? Residential outdoor lights are restricted in brightness and must be pointed down with a limited light arc. This allows us to all enjoy the incredible stars and beauty of the night.

Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
The Town of Carbondale is having its annual Recycling Event on Saturday, Apr. 30 from 8 a.m.- 2p.m., located at the parking lot in front of, and behind, Town Hall. Items that can be recycled include metal, textiles, mattresses, and general trash like broken furniture and wood. There will be a booth that accepts electronic waste such as TV's, monitors, printers, and laptops. There will be a station accepting all batteries and light bulbs, as well as one for tires. There will also be an old or unused prescription drug drop off location with the Police Dept. inside Town Hall. There may be a small fee for some items, and proof of Carbondale residency is required. Let's all do our part to properly recycle many items we no longer need and keep them out of our landfills. For more information go to: Welcome to Town of Carbondale (carbondalegov.org) and scroll down to the bottom.
