Student Media hosts “J-Day” at Talley
 
NC State Student Media welcomed 226 student media students and their advisors from high schools across central North Carolina for the North Carolina Scholastic Media Association’s Central Carolina “J-Day” over fall break.

  • Nov. 2-3 is an OIT extended maintenance weekend.
  • The next DASA Hours for DASA faculty and staff to meet with Vice Chancellor and Dean Doneka R. Scott is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6.
  • The Department of Performing Arts and Technology has several concerts coming up in early November, including the Jazz Lab Band and Studio Band, Symphonic Band, Fall Choirs, Wolfgang A Capella and Percussion. See ticket central to view the full schedule and purchase tickets.
  • University Theatre’s production of MR. BURNS, A Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn, opens Thursday, Oct. 24 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 3.

  • Flu vaccinations are available for students, faculty and staff on campus via appointments and walk-in clinics! COVID-19 vaccinations are available by appointment.
  • The NC State Office of Undergraduate Courses, Curricula and Academic Standards will hold office hours every Friday for the rest of the school year at 10 a.m.
  • Check out Centennial Campus’ fall programming, including WKNC’s Local Lunch Live!
  • Counseling and Prevention Services will hold three Opioid Overdose Prevention, Education, and Naloxone Training sessions over the rest of this semester.
  • Submissions for Creative Artist Awards in the theatre category are open now through Nov. 1. Please share this information with your students.
