A great big THANK YOU to our amazing volunteer readers who took time to show children on Thursday, March 1st, that reading is important and fun! Joining me were; Assemblymember Anthony Rendon, Sue Baker, YMCA COO, Councilmembers Rex Richardson, Al Austin, and many other wonderful volunteers. Thank you for advancing literacy activities with our preschool children and modeling the importance and joy of reading.
