| Access at Community Center
As we work to complete the site work at the Community Center, there are limited ways to access the facility. This is of particular concern to those with limited mobility and young children. The new lower parking lot is scheduled to be completed in the next two weeks. This will provide drop-off opportunities as well as handicap parking and a more accessible route. In the interim please know that the Ranch House is fully accessible. If you have an immediate concern or need regarding access, please contact Darrell Windes at darrellw@kcranch.org or 303-979-1876, ext. 114, or Chris Pacetti at chrisp@kcranch.org or 303-979-1876, ext. 116, so that they can work with you to address the issue. Also, for the next two weeks, traffic will be controlled by workers with flags and signs on Club Drive to allow for construction and to facilitate safe crossing. Please consider avoiding Club Drive when possible for the next two weeks as concrete work is being completed. Thank you for everyone’s patience during this process.

| Deer Creek Golf Course Rezoning Status UpdateThe Board of County Commissioners will have a public hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 8 a.m. at the Jefferson County Administration Building regarding an application to rezone a portion of Deer Creek Golf Course. The landowner is looking to rezone for residential a portion of the golf course in order to fund preservation of the 18-hole golf course and open space. Landowners want to build 130 single-family and attached homes. If the BCC deems the property eligible for rezoning, the applicant may begin the normal rezoning process by submitting a formal application to Planning and Zoning. You can see all of the documents pertaining to the rezoning on the Planning and Zoning website.
