Now that we’ve entered the final stretch of the Spring semester, we thought it would be a good time to share these helpful reminders:

Make sure your Grade Center is calculating students’ grades correctly. Whether you use points or weighted percentages, compare the values from your final grade column with those in your syllabus to make sure they match. Feel free to email Laurie (lbl@gwu.edu) or Alison (alisonmcguire@gwu.edu) if you need assistance.
- Use a Grading Schema to convert your final grades from numbers to letters, thereby making it easier to enter into Banner. The default Letter grades in Blackboard do not match the graduate grading schema, so this will require some manipulation. Or you can email Laurie or Alison to add the official Health Sciences schema for you.
- Remind students to complete their course evaluations. Getting their feedback is not only important for instructors, but it is also necessary for accrediting our programs.

An update to the VoiceThread interface is coming for the summer semester, though users can turn it on for themselves any time before then. New features include:

- One conversation mode
- Zooming and panning while commenting
