Pretty Things by Janelle Brown
"A riveting novel told through two (sometimes conflicting) perspectives with a multitude of themes: class warfare, family dysfunction, the power of social media, con artists, mental illness, the pressures of legacy...just to name a few. Recommended for fans of Greer Hendricks and Taylor Jenkins Reid."
— Rebacca, Meadows Library
“This has been such a memorable and amazing experience. Even though it was challenging to get my little buddy motivated, at the end I think we formed a great friendship, and he began to really enjoy our time together. I’m also studying to be an elementary school teacher and I think the challenges made me an even better educator and provided me with new skills and ways to handle challenging situations.” - Reading Buddies Spring ‘23 Volunteer
"Thanks for doing this [Your Next Great Read]. It’s awesome. I love looking up the recommendations you gave me and others! Book love!" - Social Media User in response to Your Next Great Read
