Welcome back to campus! We hope you had a great summer break and ready for the new academic year! As you prepare to go abroad during your time at ND, the Study Abroad team is here to help you at every stage of the journey.
Study Abroad applications for the 2025-2026 academic year and summer 2025 opened on September 1, 2024. Semester applications close on November 1, 2024, while summer applications close on November 15, 2024.

Meet the study abroad advisors!
The Study Abroad Team is here to support you with both in-person and virtual advising options! Drop by for walk-in advising Tuesday through Thursday, 1:00-4:00 PM, at 105 Main Building—no appointment needed.
If you have specific questions about a program, we recommend scheduling a one-on-one session with the program directors. You can arrange a virtual or in-person appointment outside of walk-in hours using the button below or by emailing us directly. We look forward to helping you plan your adventure!

Notre Dame Global Study Abroad will be hosting a series of events throughout the week to promote the many study abroad opportunities available to students. Mumbai - St. Xavier
Mumbai offers a vibrant cultural experience as India’s financial capital and a global hub for finance. It also boasts industry leaders in scientific and nuclear research and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With 125 million English-speakers, navigating the city is easy for visitors. St. Xavier's College provides a unique chance to experience traditional Indian higher education.
Students from the College of Arts & Letters and College of Science will take classes in English, interact with local students, and immerse themselves in the local culture. The program is perfect for those passionate about community service, as many events focus on giving back, with pre-health experiential learning opportunities also available.

Santiago, Chile
The study abroad program in Santiago is an immersive, academically enriching experience packed with adventure! The program begins with a three-week pre-program in rural Chile focused on community-building, cultural understanding, and language immersion. Following the pre-program, students arrive in the vibrant city of Santiago, where they stay with host families and learn a whole new way of life!
The program in Chile is ideal for students seeking to significantly improve their Spanish while being able to satisfy a number of University requirements and engage in meaningful co-curricular activities. Students in the Santiago program take classes at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica (UC-Chile), one of the largest and most prestigious universities in Latin America.

Global Day of Action
