Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

This Sunday, November 13, is the deadline for our Mac & Cheese drive aiding MadCAAP in filling up Thanksgiving boxes for Madison County residents. We have committed to providing 1400 boxes of Mac & Cheese, using our November Communion Offering to supplement what we bring in. Help us provide a Happy Thanksgiving to our friends in Madison County.
We hope you will join us for our annual church family Thanksgiving meal and fellowship Sunday, November 20 at 5 pm. The church will provide the turkey, dressing, drinks, and rolls. You bring a side and/or dessert to share.
We are excited for our Children's Ministry to lead our Worship Service on Dec. 4. We will practice music, handbells and speaking parts during the month of November, so please have your children in Sunday School starting at 9:30 a.m.
This Christmas, the Women's Ministry is partnering with Prison Fellowship to host an angel tree at our church. This Angel Tree is slightly different from the ones I've participated in in the past, because the incarcerated parent submits their children's names to Prison Fellowship. We, as the host, notify the caregiver that the children have been included in this program and our church will provide a gift to those families who wish to participate (we have a script ready for you to use). You'll then bring a wrapped gift to the church by December 11th. The entire church is invited to a carols and cocoa Christmas party December 11th at 4 where we'll welcome the families here at the church and distribute the gifts at that time.

The angels and their caregiver information will be on the tree next week. We will have a brief 10 minute meeting this Sunday, November 13 immediately following worship to share more information as well as answer any questions you may have. It's a bit different from the usual Angel Tree concept, but it's a way for us as a church to foster connection in our community, to support children and families of incarcerated parents, to welcome more families into our church home and to show love and spread cheer beyond our church doors.
