Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

"I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink"  Matthew 25:35b

We have heard from many of you asking how to help our neighbors and friends in Jackson as the water crisis continues.  First, we invite you to call your friends, check on them, and see if they know of anyone who is in desperate need.  Second, we invite you to bring bottled or gallon jug water with you to church throughout the month of September as you are able.  We are working with the MS Annual Conference on distribution sites as well as some long range planning.  Third, give. Our communion offering for the month of September will go toward meeting needs as the water crisis continues.

The MS Annual Conference has been awarded a $10,000 solidarity grant from the United Methodist Committee on Relief to help meet immediate needs for access to safe drinking water for those affected.  This is what our connection as United Methodists is able to accomplish. This is why our giving matters.  We do best what we do together. Let us work together to meet the needs of our neighbors.
Parkway Hills 10 Week Re:treat Is Back!
What is our 10 Week re:treat? For 10 Wednesday nights in the Fall and Spring, we invite you to take a retreat from worrying about supper, come eat, fellowship, and get to know your Parkway Hills family. Meal begins @ 5:45 in the Worship Center and is followed by activities from 6:20-7:15. A nursery will be provided for ages 2 and under. We know everyone has busy schedules and we hope this night allows you to step away for a bit and relax. We are excited about the various activities planned but our goal is not to give you more to put on your calendar. We invite you to read through the dates below, see what nights may work for you, and join us when you are able. As we restart this ministry, we will require an RSVP so that we may be good stewards of our resources. You may RSVP via the newsletter (this will be a week ahead not the day of), the bulletin the Sunday before, or call the church office. To RSVP for Wednesday, September 7, click hereMeal for this night includes: chicken with sour cream gravy and green beans.
