RSVP here by June 20 for our Church Family Meal and Game Night Wednesday, June 22 @ 5:30.  Registered Gospel and Games children and families don't need to RSVP.

This Sunday we will continue our "I've Got a Question" worship series. Each Sunday a panel from our congregation will engage in conversation around the questions you have sent in. There is no way to answer them all and quite frankly one Sunday morning isn't even enough for some of the questions, but we look forward to thinking deeply about our faith in this way. We will close out this series with a night of conversation Wednesday, June 29 @ 5:30. Bring a snack to share and come be in conversation with Pastor Dawn and others around all we heard and asked and lifted.

Good News from PHUMC Homeless Ministry
We have agreed to assist Grace Place with paying for ID cards for the homeless, purchasing new shoes and boxers, and providing kitchen supplies such as forks and condiments. PHUMC Homeless Ministry will present a check of $3,200.00 to Grace Place to help with the above needs. 

In addition, Jerry Sandlin and Juliet Huam took 1,035 bottles of water, 95 (2.5 oz) cans of OFF insect repellent, and two boxes of rain ponchos (120 count) to Grace Place last week. Also, we have an ongoing commitment to provide desserts on our twice-a-month visits at Grace Place. 

If you would like to join us in serving our homeless brothers and sisters at Grace Place (downtown Jackson at Galloway UMC), we carpool on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, meeting at the church parking lot at 7:10 am.  --Juliet Huam

Senior Adult Spiritual Retreat: We are making plans to partner with other area UMCs to attend the “Festival of Wisdom and Grace” at Lake Junaluska, NC, August 1-4, 2022 for worship, workshops, recreation, and entertainment at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center. Participants will explore how to flourish as they navigate transitions, live into talents and passions, and cultivate their relationship with Christ in the second half of life. Habitat is resuming their work and currently working on rehabbing a house. Below are the dates and times for shifts. Reach out to Callie Ainsworth for more info and to volunteer. And be on the lookout for information on the next Habitat for Humanity Women's Build beginning in July. This year's Women's build will be in loving memory of former First Lady Elise Varner Winter.

Come celebrate the beginning of summer and get to know the men of our church Monday, June 13 at the home of David Weiland at 6:30 - 9 pm. David will have some food available but BYOB and snacks if you so choose!
-Get a Youth T-Shirt: We're selling this year's youth shirt for $17 now through next Wednesday, June 15. To buy yours, click here or see Geoff in the Worship Center lobby this Sunday (trip participants receive theirs as part of registration). 
-June 15: Deadline to register for our trip to Panama City is next Wednesday.
-June 18: Join us for an afternoon on the lake at the Hambleton home! 12:30-4:30. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

PHUMC Women pack Welcome Baskets for Methodist Children's Home. We were able to complete 6 baskets and will be using the rest of the funds to purchase a gaming console and games for the Methodist Children's Home.
A quilt from the PHUMC Quilt Ministry was added to each Welcome Basket for the Methodist Children's Home.
