Community Center Fitness Center Opening Delayed One WeekThe newly renovated fitness center on the lower level of the Community Center was originally scheduled to open March 14, but due to construction activity, it won't open until Monday, March 21 at 5:30 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience. You can try out the fitness center for free from March 21 through April 10. The facility will have brand new, state-of-the-art equipment, updated fitness spaces and remodeled locker rooms. We suggest that you bring headphones to use with the new treadmills and bring your own locks for the lockers. There will not be any fitness classes the week of March 14, but they will resume March 21. Anyone who had a pass that was put on hold will be credited for the amount of time missed, and you will need to purchase a new pass when the new registration system is open. If you have any questions, contact the Community Center at 303-979-2233.

Easter Egg Hunt March 20The annual Ken-Caryl Ranch Easter Egg Hunt is Sunday, March 20. There will be an egg hunt, prizes and fun for the whole family. You won't want to miss it!

| New Registration System for Recreation Programs
The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District is excited to announce a new online registration system with Active Net! Patrons who register for programs, visit the pool or use the fitness facilities are invited to create an account on our new system so they are set up when we begin summer registrations in April. To create your new account, please visit https://apm.activecommunities.com/kcranchmetrodistrict. You won't be able to register for classes on the new system until April 4 when summer program registration begins, but it's important to go ahead and set up your account. | Water Conservation & Turf Reduction Plans and Open House

As part of the Ken-Caryl Ranch Landscape Master Plan, there are proposed areas throughout the Valley and North Ranch where Ken-Caryl Ranch can reduce water usage through turf reduction. You can review the plans on our Bond Projects site. There will be an open house for residents to ask questions and discuss the plans on Tuesday, April 5 from 5-6 p.m. at the Ranch House. You can also email your comments to bondprojects@kcranch.org.

Swim Club News: New Families Information Meeting and Stroke and Turn ClinicsThe Ken-Caryl Swim Club will have a New Families Information Meeting Wednesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at the Ranch House. Swim Club online registration will begin April 4 at www.kcswimclub.com and regular registration will be April 16 from 1-3 p.m. at the Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Center Youth Room. Also, swimmers can get ready for the 2016 summer swim team season by participating in the competitive Stroke and Turn Clinics. | Spring Fling Event: Outdoor Gear Donations NeededThe Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District is gearing up for the Spring Fling event on April 23! Outdoor recreation and education is the focus for this event in celebration of Earth Day. We are prepping an outdoor recreation dramatic play area where kids (and adults!) are encouraged to dress up, try on and play with outdoor recreation gear. We need help from our fabulous outdoorsy community. We are looking for gently used outdoor gear (ski coats, goggles, tents, camping backpacks, cookware, etc.). Please bring donations to the Ranch House, Community Center or Dakota Lodge, ATTN: Kailey Bucher. After the event any items that cannot be stored or used for future programs will be donated to Goodwill. If you have questions, contact kaileyb@kcranch.org.

| MiniKickers SoccerChallenger Sports MiniKickers soccer program is back for another exciting outdoor session! The Minikickers soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum that introduces your young soccer star to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social and psychological skills.

Time: 9-9:45 a.m. (3 year olds) and 10-10:45 a.m. (4-5 year olds)

| Plots Still Available in the Ken-Caryl Community Garden
The Ken-Caryl Community Garden still has a few plots available for the 2016 growing season. The garden is located next to the Community Center in the Valley. The cost of a large plot is $150 (includes a $50 refundable deposit) or $125 for a small plot (includes a $50 refundable deposit). You can register online or by calling 303-979-4070.
