NSC PILOT AWARD CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS

UAB’s Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging announces the availability of pilot/feasibility (P/F) project awards for investigators having the goal of future funding from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute on Aging (NIH/NIA). The pilot program will provide up to four 1-year awards (maximum of $25,000). Applicants MUST utilize at least one of the UAB Nathan Shock Center Research Cores, as described in the Research Cores website pages. View the RFA here.
Rolling deadline
The University of Washington Nathan Shock Center and Healthy Aging and Longevity Research Institute are soliciting applications to support pilot projects in the biology of aging. The projects should utilize the specific services provided by one or more of the UW Nathan Shock Center Cores. The awards are generally up to $10,000, depending on the specific needs of the applicant. View the RFA here.
Rolling deadline
Proposed projects must be collaborative, in that costs of studies that would be performed in the applicant's lab must be borne by the applicant, but costs associated with any part of the study that is performed at the Shock Center, including for example tissue procurement, processing, and shipping, will be borne by the Shock Center.
