New Research and Panel Discussion on Youth Homelessness

A new study from researchers at Nemours Children’s Health System and the University of Pennsylvania finds that youth homelessness may be drastically underestimated in the United States. In this briefing, the researchers will review their findings from 24 states, including Pennsylvania, and 12 school districts, including the School District of Philadelphia, from the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavioral Survey. They will discuss the demographic and risk factors for youth homelessness and engage in a discussion around policy recommendations with the rest of the panel.
Co-Hosted by Congressperson Dwight Evans and Kathy Desmond of PEC.
