Is a Midcourse Evaluation Right for You? |
Are you a new faculty member? A continuing faculty member? Teaching one class? Teaching two, three, or four classes? Teaching small classes? Teaching large classes? Teaching online? Teaching face-to-face?
If you answered Yes to ANY of these questions, then a midcourse evaluation is right for you! Request a post- and/or pre- and post-midcourse evaluation consultation with a CTE Faculty Teaching Associate to help you plan for, interpret, and act on student feedback.

Midcourse Evaluation Survey |
Thanks to everyone who completed our survey (N = 90). The drawing winners are Kelsey Ellis, Anthropology; and Erin Hoppe, Arts Management & Entrepreneurship, who each win $100 in PD funds. Congratulations! Here are a few interesting survey findings:
|
-
We heard from faculty in all six academic divisions, all faculty types, and all faculty ranks, in addition to a small number of staff and graduate students who teach.
- Half of respondents have taken advantage of midcourse consultations through the CTE. This percentage is higher for TCPL and T/TT respondents (56%).
-
We learned that 43% of respondents use midcourse evaluation in all of their courses every semester. Of these respondents who are TCPL or T/TT faculty, 40% are past the first promotion point.
