Nobel Peace Prize recipient announced as commencement speaker 

Juan Manuel Santos, the president of Colombia from 2010 to 2018, will be the principal speaker and receive an honorary degree at Notre Dame’s 178th University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 21.

To mark the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, University President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., led a prayer service for peace on Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.
